It will overview the UNESCO report that assesses four fields of Internet policy and practice that are keystones for building a free and trusted global Internet that will enable inclusive knowledge societies. These are access to information & knowledge, freedom of expression, privacy, and ethical norms on a global Internet.

Description:
This session will focus on the Cybersecurity and Trust, taking into consideration that cyber risks have increased over the past few years, whether in terms of the emergence of new tactics in electronic piracy and hacking attacks targeting the systems and the critical infrastructures, or in terms of the diversity of the electronic crimes.
Moreover, new challenges have raised in the field of maintaining the user confidence in the Internet usages covering the different aspects of life, whether in ensuring official and business dealings, or in maintaining the privacy of the data on different platforms, especially in social networking platforms, or in the free flow of information and freedom of expression through suitable legislations and legal frameworks, mainly in the Arab Region.
